The roofing and solar experts at Marley, are pre-empting a significant rise in homeowners, developers and commercial property owners seeking energy storage solutions in 2023 to capitalise on excess energy generated from solar tiles.
From Marley’s latest study of Google search data, it found a 47% increase in searches for “energy storage” in the last 12 months alone, showing a much greater demand than this time last year, and already amassing over 34k searches in the UK in this time period.
Roofing and solar tile experts Marley, have advised businesses and commercial property owners to make necessary safety and maintenance precautions regularly. Leading steel building products manufacturer Tata Steel, has studied Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) of non-domestic and commercial buildings around the UK to reveal how they fare for their energy efficiency. Tata Steel obtained and analysed 12 years of historical data from the Energy Performance Certificates for Buildings Register for England and Wales and found generally that there has been huge progress made in the construction and efficiency of non-domestic buildings across the nation.
